Sign-up is open for the 2024 KMRD Youth Summer Radio Program!
The session runs Monday-Friday, July 15th-19th, 9am-1pm. The program is open to youth ages 8-12. We’ll meet at the radio station and end with lunch at the ballpark.
Activities include: live radio broadcasting, radio technology building/craft, learning to record and creating Public Service Announcements, Station IDs, interviews, and stories, exploring musical genres, making sound effects, and more!

The KMRD summer program is free for participants who live in the 87010 zip code and open to all under a sliding scale. The program is supported in part through funding from Madrid Cultural Projects.
