A small group of locals from the Madrid/Cerrillos area have begun learning about what’s involved in starting a grocery co-op as a closer-to-home alternative to Santa Fe benefiting all of us living within the San Marcos to Madrid corridor, including Cerrillos and Galisteo. Our hope is that this co-op would be a source of good food at affordable prices in a friendly community setting.
Before diving into the initial planning stages, we are gathering information from our community via this survey. The survey results will be used to gauge levels of interest and future participation, seek funding, and make plans according to the needs and priorities of our community.
